While working on her undergraduate degree, Hollie Hancock volunteered as a test site counselor at the Utah AIDS Foundation HIV testing sites. As a result of this volunteer work, Hollie came to realize that she wanted to focus her energy and training to become a professional therapist. During graduate school, she worked in a variety of settings including the University of Phoenix Student Counseling Center and a residential treatment facility specializing in dual diagnosis of substance abuse, addiction, and mental illness. Shortly after beginning her doctoral program, Hollie shifted gears and moved to private practice. She also holds a bachelors degree in Women's Studies.
