Gordon L. Miller
(June 17, 1937 - August 3, 1986)
Gordon Leroy Miller was born June 17, 1937 in Salt Lake City to Frederick
and Mabel Miller. He died August 3, 1986 in Los Angeles, California.
From the Los Angeles Chapter newsletter, September 1986,
p. 1:
Chairperson of Affirmation Los Angeles, September 1981 - September 1986
Editor of Affinity, September 1982 - January 1984
It seemeth such a little way to me,
Across to that strange country--the beyond--,
And yet so strange, for it has grown to be,
The home of those of whom I am so fond.
They make it seem familiar and most dear,
As journeying friends bring distant regions near."
"And so for me there is no sting of death
And so the grave has lost its victory...
It is but a crossing with abated breath, And white set face--a little
strip of sea--,
to find the loved ones waiting on the shore,
Most beautiful, most precious than before
Thank you Gordon
God Bless
Gordon is buried at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Salt Lake City, Rosemont
379 2E.
