Romney Stewart
(July 9, 1941 - August 15, 1991)
From the San Diego Affirmation newsletter, September 1991, p. 3:
Romney Stewart was always generous to our chapter, offering his home,
support and donations to keep our chapter running well. He cared deeply
about the special challenges that Mormon gays and lesbians face, and
for this reason [he] believed it was important to support Affirmation's
work. Illness prevented him from being too openly involved over the
last year, but some of you may remember him from last year's Halloween
party. He was kind enough to allow us to transform his home into a Halloween
Haunted House.
Romney Stewart died in San Diego at age 50.
