Roy Mark Harrison (December 20, 1951 - March 4, 1993) Roy Mark Harrison was born in the state of Iowa on December 20, 1951 and died on March 4, 1993, in San Francisco, CA. Excerpt from Affinity, April 1993: Roy moved to San Francisco several years ago from Salt Lake City in order to received better medical care for HIV-related illnesses. He was a member of the San Francisco Single's Ward. During his last year, as his health became progressively worse, members of the ward, straight and gay alike, got the chance to know Roy better through the service they provided him. He succumbed to AIDS on March 4. The ward held a memorial service for him on the 8th. Roy will be missed by his many friends in San Francisco.
