Richard Quinn McKinnon (4 January 1958 - 30 March 1994)
Our friend Quinn, most recently of the Phoenix chapter of Affirmation, slipped peacefully from his life in the early hours of March 30. With him were his companion Don Bjorseth and his parents Shirley and Richard. In addition to many Affirmation fiends, Quinn leaves behind a daughter, Shannon Joy, 13, and a son, Jacob D., 8. He is also survived by brothers Ryan and Michael, and sisters Denece and Mechelle.
Quinn, you never promised me a rose garden. Thanks for all your special gifts.
I remember sharing precious times with Quinn as we walked in the beauty of his "secret garden." And together we knew that the light of Heavenly Father is for all time and that his love is for all men.
I celebrate and treasure Quinn's happiness, his joy and freedom. The light
of God surrounds Quinn while the love of God enfolds him; the power of and
glory that is God watches over him now.
