 1997 Conference Report1997 Affirmation Conference Photo Gallery Being gay and Mormon isn't an easy thing. Everyone in Affirmation knows the pain that comes from anti-gay prejudice. The simple act of coming together is perhaps the greatest act to ease this suffering. In addition, for those who have worked through their issues, Affirmation is a great place to meet other gay & lesbian people who share our religious background. Many friendships and relationships have been formed at Affirmation Conferences and activities. Here's a few pictures of some Affirmation friends who attended the conference.
