Counterpoint Conference
Proposals Are Now Being Accepted

September 30, 2000
8:30 am to 6:00 pm
Olpin Student Center
University of Utah, SLC

This annual conference focuses on issues in relation to the Mormon female experience.

Proposals are now being accepted for papers, panels, and other sessions. Not all sessions need be academically oriented. We hope to hear from a wide variety of voices. The final selection of program participants will depend on the quality of research, thougth, and expression. We hope that all discussions will proceed in an open, honest, and balanced way and that all who attend will feel welcome to express themselves freely.

Proposals for individual papers or for panel discussions must include a title of topic with a short summary of the presentation's content. If possible, please include a complete paper or preliminary draft. Papers will be presented in hour sessions and should allow time for questions and discussion from the audience. Panel presentations will be scheduled in sixty or ninety minute sessions and should also include time for audience participation.
