On Monday, January 28, Affirmation will launch its first session of Chat for Active Mormons, especially aimed at gay and lesbian Mormons who are active or semi-active in the LDS Church. The host will be Robert Conley, a gay Mormon who is active in the Church. At 7:00 pm Pacific Time (10:00 pm, Eastern) in the Affirmation chatroom.

On Saturday, February 2, Rick Fernández and Hugo Salinas will host a monthly Chapter-at-Large chat session. The topic is “Coming out to Parents and Friends.” Suggested reading: “Coming Out to Your Parents” (available at the website of P-FLAG Philadelphia). At 9:00 AM Pacific Time (12:00 noon Eastern) in the Affirmation chatroom.
