Olin Thomas to Appear on Sirius Radio

Olin Thomas, executive director of Affirmation: Gay & Lesbian Mormons will be featured on the February 15 edition of the Michelangelo Signorile Show, which is broadcast on Sirius Satellite Radio. The 20-minute interview is scheduled for 4:30 PM EST.

In recent days Affirmation has received media attention because of a letter the Executive Committee sent to newly ordained Church President Thomas S. Monson.

“We would like to open a dialog with you to work together to find better ways to counsel and to support those Church members who are homosexual, as well as their family members and their Priesthood leaders,” the letter reads. “We believe that by working together this can be done in a manner consistent with Church doctrine and the teachings of the Savior.”
