Posting a Prayer
If you would like to post a prayer, or a thanksgiving, to the prayer roll, send us an email. The prayer roll administrator checks for emails usually once a day. If your prayer request includes the name of a person who is not a public figure, the name will be replaced with an initial to protect the person's privacy.
"Ask for whatever you stand in need of, both spiritually and temporally, always returning thanks to God for whatever you receive. And see that you have faith, hope, and charity; then you will always abound in good works." (Alma 7:23-24)

The Affirmation prayer roll offers LGBT Mormons, with their straight family and friends, a way to come together, virtually, in mindfulness of one another's concerns and hopes. The prayer roll offers a voice to those whose voices are marginalized or excluded from LDS Church settings and provides a witness of LGBT Mormon faith and spirituality.
We encourage you to visit the prayer roll regularly and to include requests posted here in your personal prayers.

I'm a late 20's adult, and I have had relationships and sex with men. I have also been with women and have had sex with women. I'm a convert to the church, and so is my current girlfriend who like me has been with those of the same sex. Neither one of us, thankfully, feel shame, and both of us love each other very much and want and see ourselves getting married. My problem is that I question whether I'm straight, bisexual, or gay, and I really want God to help reveal to me where I stand with my sexuality before she and I take the plunge.
