Honorable Mentions:
This year a special award of $1,000 was given for outstanding Scholarly research and writing to D. Michael Quinn for his recent submission: "Prelude to the National Defense of Marriage Campaign: Civil Discrimination against Feared or Despised Minorities" to be published in Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought due to be released in the fall of 2001.
